Award-winning authors, Carol GoldenEagle and Bernadette Wagner, invite the community to their dual book launch celebrating their new releases. Bernadette’s new collection, of poetry, THE DRY VALLEY, explores one woman’s relationship with her self, her alcoholic spouse, and the world in three Saskatchewan landscapes. In Carol’s new novel, BONE BLACK, Wren StrongEagle addresses issues around Missing Murdered Indigenous Women and the lack of solutions to a myriad of problems.

The Last Mountain Lake Cultural Centre is seeking images of local artwork for an upcoming calendar fundraiser project! Calendars featuring the artwork of local artists will be offered for sale, with all proceeds benefiting programs and operations at the LMLCC. We feel that this is a mutually beneficial project:
- the artist receives showcasing and advertising of their work at no cost,
- the LMLCC receives the proceeds of the fundraiser,
- and the purchaser of the calendar is supporting the LMLCC and local artwork.
